Pediatrics Department

The Department was established in 2008. Since then it has grown to a team of full-time faculty members and support staff with a mission and commitment to the care of children. Our mission statement: “Healthy Children Healthy Nation”, is in accordance with the mission & vision of college. We strive to achieve the best possible standards -in facilitating transfer of knowledge to students to train them to become tomorrow's great Pediatricians and Researchers, in treating children in evidence based manner, adapting recommendations to local conditions and logistics. Our department logo serves as a constant reminder of the same. The department runs NMC recognized CBME based MBBS program & post graduate program in Pediatrics (MD). Apart from the clinical services and teaching, it nurtures a growing Research Cell. The department regularly conducts various value added courses in subject of Pediatrics & Neonatology e.g. Basic NRP, BLS, Breast feeding, Utilization of Growth charts, KMC, Neonatal Resuscitation, Oral Rehydration Therapy etc. We also conduct Pediatric Speciality Clinics like Neonatology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Asthma & Immunization clinics.
